It was the morning of jan 10 , 2010 when our friends decided to go for Auto Expo 2010, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. A chilled climate, a foggy morning we got ready and left for AUTO EXPO 2010.
We reached their and saw the queue of people standing at the ticket counter. A huge rush, a crowd of millions of people which includes business executives, students, working class and enjoying class. Some how, we managed to reach at the ticket counter after being a part of the long queue for around half an hour. It was looking that the security is too tight as a lot of police was deployed at the entrance gates ( 7 gates ).
We went inside Tata showroom. They were displaying the Jaguar , Prima trucks and many other vehicles were yet to launch in Indian market. The fallacy was that we (“We means us and mjority of the families and executive class “) were not able to see the car and neither the specifications of the car.
Why……….??
The answer is huge rush, unorganized ways for sightseeing, no one available to stop the rush and the respected police men doing nothing but just seeing mob and allowing the mob to go and enjoy.
Next comes the AUDI , here there was a line to get inside was of 1 kilometer so it was not possible to be a part of that line and wait for an hour just o see the new launches of the car.
Next comes the FIAT; here we found that the rush was less so we went there and saw the new models yet to be launched. I tried to found out why was this so I analyzed that persons are not so interested to see the Fiat models.
Next was Maruti- Suzuki & Hyundai but comparatively planning was seen there; may be the own staff of the companies were handling the visitors and were trained.
Next was the Mercedes showroom, we were around 20 metres away from the showroom and found out that nearly 200 people are standing at the entrance gates and nothing was visible, actually the gatekeeper had stopped the visitors to get inside due to excessive rush so people collected at the gate and the gate keeper was opening the gate once in 15 minutes.
Now when the gate was opened there was no organized way to let the visitors go inside hence the mob rushed and I saw two women being stabbed by the mob. One business executive fell down and was hurt brutally. The children lost the hands of their parents and were crying, the senior citizens of the country and the old people being crumbled, full wear and tear situation..
…Oh my God I felt like where the hell I am? Is this an auto expo or some place to be ashamed off ;
The companies were not able to attract their target customers because they simply can’t .When the buyers could not see the then how will they buy?
On the contrary the audience there was largely the “window shopping class” who have no work but eve tease. Instead of the business class the auto expo 2010 pragati maidan, New delhi was flourishing with majority of the lower strata of society category who neither see and nor allow others to see the product.
Now Auto Expo is organized jointly by Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and other bodies. What are these esteemed bodies doing ?
They claim to be the best ?
Are’nt they capable of organizing the expo in a proper manner where every one whether the person belongs to any strata of society; the lower class or the upper class could properly see the new inventions in the world of automobiles? Why aren’t the companies objecting out this matter as clearly they are missing out their target customer , the one who actually want to buy so that all of them can benefit together? Minimal planning? Unorganized staff? Untrainned staff ? This is not expected from India’s biggest auto show.
This is a question to the bodies organizing these types of grandeur shows??

More over the annual reports , annual general meeting all constitutes this framework of a PR manager as it helps the organization to behave properly and with profitability.
Now comes the BRAND which could be defined as ””Trusted promise of Quality, Service, Value establishment over period of time process by reputation and satisfactory usage””.
Today products have reached the stage of parity, so value of a corporate can only be determined by value f a Brand.
Brand on the other hand constitutes products, bottom line, people culture and work ethics.
Instead of USP, the criteria followed today is UOP (Unique organization Proposition) which aims at enhancement of confidence and reduction of uncertainty over stand alone period overall resulting t create LOYAL CORPORATE IDENTITY for its customers and therefore helps in deciding Brand Hierarchy
Hence Public Relations is the most vital division which can overturn the company profile, image and reputation
I asked in Management colleges, engineering colleges… research institutes.. all of them say we should be scientific in our approach and so we should think scientifically…seems intelligent, when asked further they said…….
… It’s a scientific way to approach, the other one said innovation, The third one rises up and said it’s a way where scientific facts are to be dealt with to think.. Some one said a thinking which is developed when Nature calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will try to explain what is it all about….
There are certain DIMENSONS in which a person thinks…certain thinkings .. these are..
1. Fictional Thinking
2. Rational Thinking
3. Extential Thinking
4. Thinking by Evidence
Now In terms of scientific thinking it is very necessary that the approach made should be rational, it has NO edge on fictional thinking.. for a rational thinking its necessary that there are some evidences to prove it.
So the equation comes out to be as follows
FICTIONAL THINKING: DAY DREAMING.. GOOD FOR WRITING BED TIME STORIES..
RATIONAL THINKING: NO EMOTIONS TO PLAY, BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE
EXTENTIAL THINKING: OUT OF THE BOX THINKERS BUT WITHOUT EVIDENCE
EVIDENCE THINKING: ONLY EVIDENCES BUT NO THINKING
Scientific Thinking
Hence it proves that…. Rational thinking + Evidence Thinking = Scientific Thinking
So now we got the correct equation of problem its not a scientific way not the way one develops while busy with the nature call or what everrrrrr…. but an approach which leads to scientific Thinking….. and that is Rationality and evidence…….
So now Im sure if someone asks you up what is scientific approach.. im sure you would not say that its thinking out of box .. or thinking scientifically or bla..bla.. bla…

Being a Computer Science Engineer and working in IT industry for almost 3 years it was a tough time for me to really leave my well settled job and join an MBA course that too in recessionary period, I wandered around focusing on UK and its universities and got selected in many of them as I was looking for 1 year MBA so UK was the best destination.
One day I read on News paper about ” 1 Year Executive MBA program “at IIPM – Indian Institute of Planning and Management , this was a superb concept and I decided to go in roots of this advertisement.
Many of the guys said all the Faux-pas about IIPM, but after proper research and talking with the alumni of IIPM I found out that the absurd information about IIPM is really absurd and so I “Dared to think beyond IIM by joining this course” of Executive MBA – IIPM
Paradoxically of the stories around , what I found was that IIPM has one of the best Faculties comparing, not only India but around the world, one of the best known teachers like Proff N.R.Chatterjee who is the founder of many business schools, prof. Ranjan Paul, Prof. Prasoon Majumdar, Prof. Shyam Sharma, Prof Steve from Berkeley… and the list goes on …. and on.,,. we were fortunate enough that we had been enrolled into IIPM which helped us to hone our skills not only in Business but in personality development also.
My classmates came from various sectors of industry, with an average experience of 5 years.
the aged one was having sixteen years of experience in FMCG industry , USA.
Interesting factor was that a top class administrative officer was among our classmates who took 1 year leave from government to carry over his post graduation the rest were from Infosys, TCS, HMV musics and all the big brands.
These gentlemen left their jobs and came for IIPM…. “Think… the importance of this course”
The GOTA program.. which is a life time experience in itself fulfilled my dream of studying abroad. I was able to study in Cambridge university also we visited Belgium where our study was on the logistics of Port of Antwerp, which is one of the largest port of the world.
The reputation of IIPM had been premium among its competitors and that is the reason that these guys are spoiling the name of IIPM.
Just Think..”Why the Shahrukh Khan… who is the no 1 star of India bacame the brand ambassador of IIPM..” ?
Just think!!! When the world is nurtured by the heat of Recession and hardly any companies are coming in 80% of the colleges around India then How come IIPM give above 95% of placements to its students.
This is known as Industry experience, this is the class of IIPM which gives its students the edge not only in personal life but professional life too….
I personally advice everyone to think twice or n times that what made IIPM the best among the best..
The students get not only the name but also the return of their parents hard earn money, their savings and moreover their dream.
IIPM MBA especially Executive MBA is something which is really necessary to revolve the inner self
and most importantly to be a self independent man.
This was a glimpse of my beautiful experience in this beautiful college…

It is said … “The Old order changes yielding the place for the new..”Have you ever thought what is the meaning of this phrase when it comes to our parents. As the world is advancing towards the next century things are changing , the ambience is changing .. relations are changing and yes humans are changing.
Be it Porters principles for growth, be it Micro, be it Macro, be it sustainable development, be it Maslow Hierarchy for needs, be it relations all are preach profit maximization.
Then why not profit maximization when it comes to love , when it comes to your parents, when it comes to your family, when it comes to your eternity. The first word that a child speaks when born is maa.. means mother then who teaches that baby to say mother, the truth is no human but GOD.
He grows up analyzing the nature of his mom and dad. Dad is responsible to take care of his small world for which he is responsible.. his world is this new baby and his wife, both of these humans see the light of love in their piece of flesh which is born with face of mother and blood of his father.
They make sure that this kid grows up to be a successful person in life , in society and in this world. They sacrifice, they pray they collect each and every twig which they can earn from their hard labor, their devotion, their faith and their emotions. They make sure that this living legend of them grows up in a high standard society following the modern ways of this world.. following the latest fashion from MILAN..following the style from PARIS.. following the education from the HARVAD or equivalent colleges.. and it never ends as they want their best to give to their children.
Then one day their kid turns up in a well educated , well qualified human being ready to face the challenges of this world. That moment must be the most fascinating and spectacular moment of their lives.
Then what happens, this chap goes out to work and after few days he returns and start avoiding his parents..ask why the answer is “.. ooh the world was different before but now the world have changed and there is a Generation Gap..”..then what next..time passes by ..passes by.. he becomes younger and his parents old… he leaves his parents and goes far far away from them may be not physically but mentally… So these “”IDIOT PARENTS WHO DEVOTED THEIR LIVES TO THEIR BORN FLESH ARE LEFT WITH HOPE THAT THEIR CHILD WILL RETURN “ but he never returns… as time goes by either of the one ..mom or dad goes away from this world.. then they are alone in this “GOD DAMN Amusement park ..World”.. Now the other parent is expecting his son to come back.. but here the story goes he comes .. yeah he comes.. but to go forever.. as he is toooooooooo … busy in job and don’t have time for that alone body who gave him birth.. and that alone body is left with either dogs or cats.. for them.. they love their cats their dogs… because they want to give love but have no one…. except them… one day this body also goes up in the vicinity to join the allmighty..
What next.. the same story repeats again… this grown up man gets married and the cycle continues….It is said that..”HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF…” yes its true .. but one need to have the power of God to change history.. and what is that power of God……….”.DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOU.?????????”
Yeah you have it in you..and the power is “LOVE”… some relations are made by man and some relations are made by God .. Man can challenge the relations made by him……but he DARE not challenge the relations made by GOD… because then he will never be able to change this history cycle..

Once upon a time some one asked me ..what is your main aim in life and your basic needs …what you want to become…. I was just confused with so many questions…….
A few gentleman describe this behavior in a very beautiful way. One of them was Mr.Abraham Maslow who introduced the concept of ..“Maslow hierarchy of needs”
Very beautifully he explained the needs of human with changing time …..
With five phases of needs he described the human needs wonderfully…
No doubt the theory is old now and many other theories have been made but he will always be remembered as someone who categorized the needs of human..
May be this is a theoritical concept but these theories helps us a lot in developing our own perception of need and requirement……It goes from the most basic needs to the higher ones right starting from the basic needs of man i.e. food , shelter and cloth to …….self esteem……So now may be this can help U out to find that wat stage u are in n where u wanna reach…….All the Best!!!! ……:)

Scope Creep: ..Project Manager Experience Is that Agile or Waterfall…….or the mix of both….
Project Mangement experiences: Practical implementation of scope creep.
Initially wat I would like to say is Boss is Boss and is always right …
While I was made the project coordinator of a project Named abc…
I was having certain obligations..
Initially that project was a mess…
I had experienced that no matter how experienced PM you are but one should always try not to jump into the rotten project…..
I really remember that project was a mess…
The toughest thing that I had experienced in
ma life.
Now here goes the story…
Although ..I saw that rest is fine but some project named Abc was not on its track… the scope creep was that this project was delivered in some older technology and God bless..:) no resourced was with us who was familiar with that technology and more over no heads up… this was not the phase of development alas the maintaience phase now my team was not familiar with the technology and the hard luck was that a full set of test cases were there in Queue waiting to screw up the minds of ma team members and more over me….
Now we had a bag full of bugs lying underneath us…. And we wre not aware how to fix it up..
So now it was on me ..
The prob was that …
1. No new resource was available for this project .
2. Time was allotted as if it was finished.
3. my team was not ready to take over the project they need time for research n development, they were moving back.
4. Every page in the website was a crash.
5. the code written earlier was a crappie snake.
6. it was the worst code I ever saw in a life as apart from being the project coordinator I am sun certified java prgmr so I had some idea of the international standards for code but Gosh’’’’’ Hail programmers..
7. how can I expect ma team to cover up this old technology code with a limited time Limited resource and client hitting your head every two days..
8. It was a mess….
So my dear experienced professionals I need answers wat u suggest is the best possible way when u are in this situation ..
I ‘ll love to explain what I did to overcome this situation.
